Tour the Cabins

The Cabins at Crabtree Falls offer five fully furnished cabins available for nightly rental in beautiful Nelson County, VA, located near Nelson 151 aka: the Brew Ridge Trail.  Below is a quick view of each cabin, its sleeping accommodations and price.  For more details, please click on the name of the cabin you are interested in in the upper right corner of this page.  All cabins have electricity, heating and air conditioning, running water and working bathrooms and kitchens.  All cabins come supplied with pots and pans, bed linens, shower linens, basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner & soap), TVs with DVD players (only Barb's and Richard's TVs are connected to satellite), outdoor fire-pits and small charcoal grills (charcoal not provided).    All of our cabins are located a half mile to the beginning of the Crabtree Falls hike.  For all weekends we do have a two night minimum.

Tony's Place 

Tony's is our smallest accommodation (duplex-style, similar to a townhouse): There is an upstairs loft with one queen-size bed, couch, bed-side table, full-legnth mirror and a full bathroom with a bath-shower combo.  Downstairs in the living room is a full-size pull-out sofa, coffee table, side table, TV with a DVD player, a dining table and fully-stocked kitchen.  Tony's can sleep two to four people between the upstairs bed and the pull-out sofa.  This accommodation is cozy and has one of the best views off the front porch.  Tony's is rented for $150.00 per night.

Annie's Cabin

Annie's is our oldest, most beloved cabin and is an authentic Appalachian cabin originally built in the 1799.  If you are looking for an authentic mountain cabin, this is it.  Upstairs is a sleeping room with two double beds and one twin, and can sleep 5 comfortably.  The downstairs features a love seat, gas furnace, a comfy sofa chair, side table, TV with a DVD player.  The kitchen downstairs has all the cooking and dining items you could need.  There is a college-size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker and toaster.  There is a small bathroom with a small shower and toilet.  As the bathroom and kitchen were added long after Annie's was built, they are small and rustic.  The front yard has a great firepit tucked into the bedrock by the picnic table and the front porch is the best for listening to the river.  Annie's rents for $200.00 per night.

Jack's Place

Jack's is our mountain chalet.  It is modern and comfortable, bright and beautifully decorated.  Jack's has a single bedroom on the main floor with a double bed, bedside table and dresser.  The bathroom has a shower-tub combo, toilet and countertop.  Upstairs features a sleeping loft with two double beds and bedside tables allowing Jack's to comfortably sleep six people.  The living room has a large sofa rocker and a large leather couch with a coffee table and TV with a DVD player.  The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking and dining items.  There is a stove, oven, full refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and toaster in the kitchen for guests.  The porch has a porch swing and several Adirondack chairs for guests to enjoy.  Jack's Place rents for $220.00 per night. 

Barb's House 

Barb's House is our second largest accommodation and is a very comfortable, modern mountain chalet.  This home features two separate downstairs bedrooms.  The first bedroom has a full-size bed, two bedside tables and a dresser.  The second bedroom has a queen-sizebed, a dresser, rocking chair and bedside table.  There is a game room located on the main floor that guests can use if they are bringing a pack-and-play for young children.  The kitchen comes fully equipped with all your cooking and dining items (stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, utencils, glassware, etc) and has a table large enough for six.  One full bathroom is located downstairs with a shower-tub combo and a half bathroom is located upstairs.  Upstairs is a sleeping loft which has two twin-sized beds allowing Barb's to comfortably accommodate up to six people.  The front porch has a comfortable swing and several Adirondack chairs for guests to enjoy while listening to the Tye River.  Barb's house is rented for $250.00 per night.

Richard's Retreat

Richard's Retreat is our newest, largest and most modern cabin with a beautiful livingroom that was origionally an 1800's log cabin.  This home features a master bedroom downstairs with one queen bed, a side table and dresser.  The greatroom features a beautiful stone, wood-burning fireplace, large leather couch, comfortable lounge chair, coffee table and Television with DirecTV and a DVD player.  The beautiful kitchen boasts of all new, stainless steel appliances and comes fully equipped with all of your cooking and dining needs (pots, pans, baking sheets, utencils, dishes, glassware, etc).  There are two full bathrooms, both have bath-tub combos and there is one located on each floor.  The second floor has a large, spacious sleeping-room upstairs which holds two double beds, a set of bunk beds, a comfortable leather sofa chair, bed tables and a dresser.  This cabin can comfortably sleep eight.  Richard's is the only cabin to feature a hot tub on the back porch and an indoor fireplace.  Towels for the hot tub are provided.  Richard's is rented for $350.00 per night. 

There is NO CELL PHONE RECEPTION on the mountain.  There are no phones in individual cabins.  There is a guest phone available for use located outside the Priest View Internet Lounge, located beneath Tony's Place.  Please plan accordingly.  Complimentary wifi is available in the internet lounge.
