The Retreat at Crabtree Falls is the perfect getaway. It's fully equipped with EVERYTHING you need, set within the perfect landscape, and has the coziest glamping tents you could imagine. We've been 2 times now (Tyre River and Crabtree Meadows tents) and have left feeling refreshed, happy, and ready to come back soon each time. The nearby hikes make it that much more enjoyable. Beth-Anne makes the check-in process easy and is always very kind and welcoming. The bathrooms and tents are clean, comfortable, and luxurious. I recommend The Retreat to everyone!

This was by far my favorite weekend trip ever!!! I booked the Crabtree Meadows glamping tent for our anniversary and it was the most romantic, stress free, nature filled time! Beth-Anne the owner/host is the sweetest and best host! She greeted us to our tent and was only a text away if we needed anything. The setup of these tents is extremely well done. The small treats and welcome sheet on your table, water in a glass jug, s’mores kit, firewood ready to go. Friday night it rained while we were sleeping, which itself was so relaxing to listen to, but there was an umbrella in our tent for when we needed to walk to the rest room. Again, it’s the small things that she thinks of! We cooked all of our meals on the firepit which has the griddle and grill attachment. They have a box with exactly what you need to prepare the meal and cook it. Also a MUST DO! Book the bird hunting package!!...This truly was the all around anniversary package I was looking for. Time to relax, focus on us, be in the nature and have some fun! Can’t wait to come back and we plan on always doing this trip for our anniversary!

Glamping Policies

Please treat our lodging as you would treat your own.

1) Two people maximum for each glamping site.

2) **Individuals staying in the tents MUST be 21 years or older.** This area is designed as a peaceful and romantic adult retreat. We love to host families in our cabins but kindly request no children in our tents.

3) Glamping tents are smoke-free, we request if you smoke to please do so in designated smoking areas on the property.

4) Glamping tents are pet-free, NO exceptions.

5) Coolers must be bear-proof to be in the tent. All other coolers must remain inside of a locked vehicle.

6) No parties or events.

7) Quiet hours: 9:00 p.m. - 9:00 a.m.*

*Bluetooth speakers are welcomed at a volume which you can enjoy while other guests can enjoy sounds of nature. We have the right to remove guests who become unruly.

Firewood

Firewood is available for sale on site or guests may bring their own firewood that has been obtained from Virginia. We kindly request no out-of-state firewood on site. Again, for purchase of firewood we will require a card to be kept on file.

Before you leave

Please leave the bed unmade and do not pull sheets- our housekeepers will take care of this for you. Please do a basic tidy up of the rental, being sure to clean any cooking items before replacing them. Please leave all used bathroom linens on the floor in the bathroom, if you use the robes provided for you, leave them on the floor as well. Please remove trash and place inside the outdoor bin.

Cancellation Policy

Payments are 100% refundable up until 21 days prior to your scheduled stay.
Cancellations with 14-21 days’ notice will receive a 50% refund.
No shows or cancellations within 14 days prior to your stay will result in 0% refund.
